It's a state in which you are doing and being in alignment with your soul and whatever it is you're doing at that moment.
Vibing before the game with your headphones on is a good start but it's not FLOW. When Janice talks flow, she means you move and you dance with an insane level of knowing and presence that you can touch, taste and feel. It's where you do things that seem like they shouldn't even be possible.

If you've experienced flow state before, you know it's an experience like no other. There's a significant amount of duality in the experience.

As an athlete, flow state is always available to you. It's there. You don't need anything special but it will help you be a better athlete. The key is you have to meet it where it's at before you can tap in and use it.
If you've experienced flow state before, Janice can get you to access flow state again in about 10-15 minutes. In fact, she guarantees it. If you've never experienced flow state before, it takes up to 6 weeks to access it consistently.
What makes Janice's approach unique and successful?
Most athletes try one of two options to get to flow state:
They try to grind it out, focus on muscle memory and hope it's enough. You need muscle memory but grinding is a good way to get injured. Remember at The Mindful Champion, we learn to work with ourselves rather than push against what's missing.
The other option is athletes attempt to get there with logic as though it's cerebral. It's not. If you've seen people talk about their experiences with flow state, you know it's a feeling or a state. You can't logic your way there. That's like trying to logic your way into love. You can't. It's not the same as feeling it.
With my approach, I'm able to walk you through specially designed exercises to get you to feel flow. It makes it tangible and gets you to meet flow where it's at. That's where you'll find the magic. From there, we work to deepen how you work with flow state so you can maintain it consistently and effortlessly.
Once we've established a good relationship with flow state, we'll start to apply it to training, nutrition, performance and mindset. As you use flow, everything becomes easier, more efficient and you get better results.
